Firmly rooted in the tradition of electric blues masters like Muddy Waters, Albert King and Howlin’ Wolf, these artists are not content to tread familiar ground. With a fresh approach and much needed urgency, bringing in elements of soul, rock and psychedelia, whilst giving a nod to the past each group’s music conveys the everyday stresses and struggles of Britain today.

With Constant tours, gigs, club nights and record releases organised collectively and individually The British Blues Explosion gives a much needed jolt of energy to London’s often flagging grass roots music scene, culminating in this very special evening presenting the very best of this exciting new scene.
