Introducing Lapels – the new generation of indie/Britpop singer/songwriters, evolving the no-nonsense, everyday-life genre of music into 2021… almost 30 years since the Godfathers of Britpop, Blur, changed the world with their debut album, ‘Leisure’. The first new, young band signed to the iconic Marquee Records (a brand renowned for nurturing and launching new talent), Lapels bound onto the scene with their debut single, ‘Warning Lights’ released on 30 July.
