Muck and the Mires (Boston, USA) are bringing their Beat Revolution to London!
Rock legend Kim Fowley (who produced several of the band’s records) famously described Muck and the Mires as “the 1964 BEATLES meets the 1977 RAMONES”…unforgettable three minute pop gems played so fast and furious that they clock in at two minutes. Any song over 3:59 is prog!
But wait! The Kings of Pound Shop Rock have agreed to play too! Featuring ex-members of the Ramones-worshipping snot pop punks “Griswalds” and garage punks “The Ulcers”, Chinese Junk will be there too, to remind you to forget your bad girl- and boy- friends, shitty jobs and dead end towns. Those things suck!
But Chinese Junk’s low-budget, high action EPs – available on Black Wax, Brassneck, and Big Neck Records – and their debut LP out on Big Neck soon… will get your some action! Guaranteed!
